The Funk 'n' Soul Show goes live for what is now considered one of Manchester's biggest and friendliest club nights featuring a full live set by acid jazz The Apples and followed by DJ, actor and funkster about town Craig Charles manning the decks until 3am.

Israeli acid jazz dancemasters The Apples formed in Israel in 2002 with the core of electronic artists Schoolmaster & Mixmonster and the steadfast rhythm unit of Shai Ran and Yoni Halevy.

Laying down a solid funk foundation they lace it and jumping' and jazzy front line of horns and scratchin' turntables all mixed up with old school funk, soul jazz and middle-eastern beats.
