Tacoma Is For Lovers presents their first Craft Night! Each month will feature an artist who will introduce a new craft. The first 45 minutes will be devoted to learning the necessary techniques. After which, people can continue working on the activity or work on other projects. This month features Miranda Pollitz who will introduce needle felting. The $15 fee covers materials (needle, carded wool, foam pad) plus a small donation to TIFL and King's Books. The project will focus on creating the felted bird featured in the book Little Felted Animals by Marie-Noƫlle Horvath. Participants should be age 12 and up. Please pre-register with sweet pea (kingsevents@harbornet.com) so that we know how many materials to bring!
Tacoma Is For Lovers is a community-based organization which annually produces an Artist Craft Fair which promotes the visibility of local artists and encourages reuse, intentionality, sustainability and high craft.
