Coworking in Action January 30, 2009

You are invited to come and meet the Old Broadcasting House coworkers at this exhibition where members will attempt to wow you with examples of their products and colaborative projects. Here is a sample of whats on show:

Meet Outpost North - a sound design and sonic branding agency based in Leeds offering composition of custom sound and music for a range of media applications. Work includes podcast jingles, sound design for video and advertisements and creation of sonic art for installation purposes.

Experience FriiSpray - an open source infra-red grafitti tool based around the Wiimote Whiteboard software. Three members of the Innovation Showcase have collaborated to take the interface between the Wiimote and the computer and adapt it to allow people to create digital or virtual grafitti as an interactive media installation. Attendees are invited to try their hand at creating some virtual grafitti as part of the project development.

Say hello to Creode - established in the summer of 2008 by two Leeds graduates, and supported by Leeds Met Business Start-Up; James Hannaford and Luke Harrison from Creode offer new and innovative ideas towards web design whilst maintaining a strong focus on accessibility standards. The team also provide branding, print design, web development and hosting services.
