During the early history of the county, the Circuit Court in Leesburg was in session only once a year. During this time people from all over the county converged upon Leesburg to conduct business, which gave the town a festive-like atmosphere. Highlights include artisan demonstrations, traders and peddler selling wares, reenactments of cases from 1750-1825, period entertainment and hands-on children's activities
