Council of European Bioregions Scientific Poster Day January 17, 2011

The CEBR Scientific Poster Day will feature senior scientists from the Manchester community and aims to bring together senior scientists from large companies across Europe around core topics to build research partnerships for the accelerated delivery of technology platforms and products. The event will consist of scientific poster presentations, technical presentations from hosting companies, and the publication of an electronic book of abstracts.

Richard Lugg will speak on the topic of "A new advanced Microscale Bioreactor technology for Cell line and Process Development."

Marc Watson will speak on the topic of "Developing in vitro models of the blood brain barrier to characterise transport of biologicals."

David Gruber will speak on the topic of "A process comparison of three Protein A matrices."

Matthew Sleeman, Ian Anderson and Amanda Watkins will speak about the "Role of Interleukin-1 in mouse models of acute lung inflammation/"
