Coulterville Storytelling Night - Free - Adults & Families March 17, 2009

Award winning storyteller, Len Cabral will perform at a FREE community performance. The Coulterville Community Club and the Odd Fellows are generously providing refreshments. This event is for both adults and older children. Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Len is a popular storyteller at festivals and theaters in the eastern U.S. This is his first tour of the west! A storyteller of Cape Verdean ancestry, he tells stories from Africa, the Caribbean, the Cape Verde Islands and the southern United States. His stories of unconscionable tricksters such as the famous Br’er Rabbit, or the lesser known story of Nho Lobo of the Cape Verde Islands, are probably his most delicious adventures.
