Costuming session / science fiction fans meetup August 25, 2006

BIFF (Burrard Inlet Fan Fellowship, a weekly meet-up of science fiction & fantasy fans) is having another costuming session, featuring Looch from Act One theatrical makeup and dance supplies on Robson Street in Vancouver. (For anyone who was at the Hats Off Day street festival in North Burnaby earlier this year, Looch was in the Darth Vader costume.) No prior experience with costuming necessary. Come share the fun of dressing up as another character.

COST: Free to attend (though BIFF has an informal agreement with the restaurant that everyone who attends will order something)

RSVP: Not necessary; just show up. This is a regular Friday gathering. BIFF is the group in the section to the right of the front door after you enter.

About BIFF: Burrard Inlet Fan Fellowship is a weekly Friday informal gathering in North Vancouver for people who are fans of science fiction, fantasy, or things related, no matter how casual the interest. So, if you live in North or West Vancouver (or the Sunshine Coast, or for that matter, Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Surrey, Richmond, or anywhere in the Lower Mainland), and would like to hang out with other fans on a Friday night, drop in to the Eighties Restaurant starting at 6:30 pm.
