The Cornell University Chorus, directed by Professor Scott Tucker, will perform at Christ Church Cathedral on Tuesday, March 17, at 7 p.m. The approximately 90-minute concert includes a short segment featuring the American Chamber Chorale, conducted by Stephen Morton. Following this event, which is free (but accepts donations), there will be an after-concert reception hosted by the Cornell Club of St. Louis.
Founded in 1921 as the Cornell Women’s Glee Club, the Cornell University Chorus performs a repertoire spanning eight centuries and 10 languages, including masses, motets, spirituals, folk songs and a variety of other classical and contemporary pieces.
