Japanese electronic pop specialist Cornelius came out of Tokyo's Shibuya-Kei scene, which also bore Pizzicato Five and Fantastic Plastic Machine. After ten albums of experimentation with mixing sound samples from mainstream sources with diverse instrumentations and natural sounds, he brings his quirky dissonant pop songs to the Royal Festival Hall.

Long time Bjork collaborators and general left field experimentalist duo Matmos, also known as MC Schmidt and Drew Daniel, join the evening. Having released their first album back in 1997 on their own Vague Terrain label, they have gone on to produce seven studio albums utilising diverse sound sources including amplified crayfish, rat cages, life support systems and a five gallon bucket of oatmeal.
