Cork’s Wine Gurus Diane Gross & Khalid Pitts are out to prove that Champagne is not just a drink reserved for special occasions. Cork Market & Tasting Room has just introduced monthly Sunday Fried Chicken and Champagne dinners at the 14th Street market. Dispelling the myth that sparkling wine is meant to be enjoyed only during celebrations, Cork Market’s new Fried Chicken & Champagne dinners will pair Chef Kristin Hutter’s award-winning Fried Chicken with a different bubbly at each of the Sunday dinners which run from 6:00 – 8:00p.m. Chef Hutter’s Garlic-Herb Marinated Fried Chicken was named one of Bon Appétit’s “Top 10 Fried Chicken.”

Cork Market’s Fried Chicken and Champagne dinners will be hosted Sunday evenings starting May 6th 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the market’s upstairs dining room.
