Coping 101 September 23, 2009

Learn about productive ways of dealing with stress in 'Coping 101: Your Wisdom...Is In Your Choices.' The event is sponsored by Bergen Community College's Wellness Center, in collaboration with the Bergen County Department of Health Services, the Bergen County Mental Health Task Force of CHIP and the Governor's Council on Mental Health Stigma. It will be held in the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre. Topics will include relationships, rejection and redefining "normal." Speakers will discuss methods for maintaining mental health, how to avoid stressful situations and new decision-making skills. Reflections, a Bergen County Division of Family Guidance theater group, will present improvised scenes on a variety of mental health issues. Regional health professionals will attend the event and provide information on their services.
