Cookies, Cocoa & Carols - Community Singalong to "Light Up a Life" December 22, 2011

Upcoming is a Community Singalong that happens in the Merchant Mews & Fitzwilliam Gate areas of Nanaimo's Old City Quarter. It's not a concert, but, an informal opportunity to get together with friends and neighbours, in an old-fashioned way, and celebrate the season with a cup of warm cocoa and some cookies.

"Cookies, Cocoa & Carols" takes place from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, on Thursday, December 22, and when people are ready, that's when the Singalong happens!

Carol song sheets are passed out, and musician Allison Crowe leads us all in singing five or six favourite songs of the season.

It's part of the "Light Up A Life" campaign organized by the merchants of the Old City Quarter - to aid the Haven Society. Donate a toy, or non-perishable food item or clothing for families in need.
