Come join us for an evening discussing the process taking place in connection with your real estate transactions commencing as of the date of execution of the contract and delivery to the title company, through the closing date. We will review the steps in the process from the title company’s perspective in order to provide you with greater knowledge of the process. We will also review the legal documents presented at closing and learn in depth all about the real estate closing itself. We will review the title commitment (including all schedules) and explain the pitfalls that may occur with the title. Also, the HUD-1 settlement statement will be reviewed and explained line for line so that you will be able to review one for yourself and understand what is being charged and collected.
