The Continuous Integration process is often summed up as "don't break the build," but there is a lot more to it than that. Continuous Integration done properly is all about shortening the feedback loop between developers so that any changes that affect other developers are dealt with as quickly as possible. Continuous Integration is valuable to any software organization legacy or new product development, IT, Consulting, and R&D. This talk will cover how CI works in practice, example implementation tools for Java and .NET, as well as the theory behind reducing integration times and increasing developer productivity and code health that CI enables.
