Content management systems (CMS) are becoming increasingly popular for the authoring and administration of websites. These software systems provide a means to control the presentation of sites, as well as a database for storing site content. But CMSes themselves vary in terms of complexity and flexibility. This course, offered through UNM Continuing Education, will survey several popular CMSes, including WordPress, ExpressionEngine, MojoMotor, Joomla, Drupal and Plone. Discover the pros and cons of each of these sites and arm yourself with the knowledge to make the right decision when choosing a CMS that fits your needs. This course runs for 2 sessions starting March 7, 2011, ending April 9, 2011 on Monday and Wednesday from 1-5pm. Tuition is $219. Classes will be held in the UNM Continuing Education South Building, located at 1634 University Blvd. NE, in Albuquerque, NM.
