Anne Hardy is an artist based in London, whose work has been widely exhibited at venues including the Barbican Art Gallery, London; Maureen Paley, London; Laing Gallery, Newcastle and Quicksilver, Berlin. Hardy’s practice centres on the construction of elaborate interior spaces in her studio, photographed to produce complex and compelling images with references to sculpture, installation and film. She will be discussing her work and the development of her career as an artist.
This talk is part of the Contemporary Photography Professional Practice and Contexts Spring 2008 series of talks organised by Photoworks and the MA Photography course at the University of Brighton.
All talks are held at the Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton between 6.30-7.30pm.
