Contemporary Ethics Course/Class March 31, 2011

Traditionally the domain of ethics asks questions like: What is the right thing to do? How should I live? Who is a good person? The course presents some contemporary philosophers on these issues and new trends in defining what we mean by the terms ethics and morality. Contemporary ethics must also deal with a whole range of new issues, such as advances in the information revolution; global terrorism; media Ethics; the ethics of spying. We will discuss a range of issues.
