Contemporary Art Course: Contemporary Art Inside Out July 4, 2013

What is Contemporary Art? Crossing the disciplines of art history, theory and criticism, this course will track developments in the avant-garde through the periods and practices of Modernism, Post-Modernism and Contemporary Art of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Incorporating a wide selection of visual resources, ample time for class discussion, and a gallery tour, the course will provide a comprehensive historical perspective on a range of contemporary art practices, as well as in-depth discussions on key artists and works.
