Consortium Carissimi, one of Italy’s finest early baroque ensembles, now with a state-side ensemble, will perform "Silentium Tenebant - Music for Christmas and Epiphany" on Friday, January 4, 2008 at 7:00 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church in Excelsior. Consortium Carissimi’s mission is to uncover and bring to modern day ears the long forgotten Italian-Roman sacred and secular music of the 16th and especially the 17th century. The concert is free and open to the public.
