Conservatory Night - Opera After Hours January 21, 2010

The Conservatory Nights concert series has proved exceptionally popular with sold out audiences for nearly every concert. This seasons concerts will include an eclectic mixture of five jazz styles: straight-ahead, modern, Latin, fusion and funk; as well as concerts that focus on Afro-Cuban, French, Spanish, breakbeat and hip-hop music.Concert-goers will be treated to a Helen Bader Hall that has been transformed into an intimate candle-lit club with cabaret table seating and bar service.Opera After HoursCome to the cabaret as the Florentine Opera Studio pays homage to the European cabarets of the 1920s and 1930s. Recalling the sophisticated bawdiness of that glittering and tumultuous era, songs by serious, and not so serious, composers and their contemporary counterparts will be performed in the candle lit Conservatory club.Conservatory Nights concerts are $18 General Admission, $14 Seniors and Students. 6-Concert Subscription: $92 / $72. 4-Concert Subscription: $62 / $50
