Richard Sylla, a New York University professor, will be the keynote speaker for a free conference on the history of financial crises and their impact on American culture. His address, "Consequences of Crises," will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, in the Copeland Room at Hagley. The conference, sponsored in part by the Delaware Humanities Forum, continues Nov. 5.
