The lecture will review world effort in the use of computer modelling to understand what it is to be conscious. It will then concentrate on a set of 5 axioms that appear to be essential in capturing particularly the vivid experience of being conscious (qualia and phenomenology in philosophical jargon) and some implementations of this theory.
