Connecting Women and Nature: Kayaking Lake Michigan August 17, 2009

Kayaking Lake Michigan is challenging and rewarding. We’ll explore the shores of the Big Lake near the town of South Haven. Along the journey we’ll take time to eat boxed lunches and swim in the warm water. If conditions on the lake are not right for kayaking, we will explore the Black River instead. Fee includes instruction, kayak and equipment rental, transportation, naturalist guides, and lunch. Please wear comfortable clothes (bathing suit) and shoes that can get wet. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, snack, camera – place all in a ziplock bag. (weather permitting)
