The CT Film Festival is an “Oscars-like” event, celebrating the yearlong work of middle and high school students, who were engaged in a variety of innovative, cutting-edge film programs in Connecticut. Students from more than 30 schools submitted films, the majority of which was produced as part of the Connecticut Career Choices initiative, Digital Media and Movie Making (DM3) program.
A panel of judges, comprised of industry professionals and college faculty, will review the student submissions, and awards will be presented in the categories of “Outstanding PSA,” “News Report,” “Animated Short,” “Middle School Short,” “Historical Short,” “Documentary Short,” and “Fictional Short.
