Connecticut High School Innovation Expo May 12, 2007

Welcome to the 2007 Connecticut High School Innovation Exposition. This exposition of student work is the result of a collaborative effort and focus on innovation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education. The students exhibiting today are involved in a variety of programs supported by the Connecticut Career Choices initiative and Education Connection Inter-district Grants. Business partners from a variety of Connecticut businesses, IBM and the Connecticut Technology Council have worked with Connecticut educators to nurture and support these innovative programs for Connecticut urban and suburban students and teachers. The culminating experience for this year’s STEM program participants is the public presentation of their work at this 2007 Connecticut High School Innovation Exposition. Thank you for joining us in this celebration of student achievement, creativity, collaboration, innovation and 21st Century STEM education.
