Connecticut Gay Men's Chorus: '69 Still Divine April 18, 2009

"Far out! Solid! Groovy! Right on!", were phrases used to describe a great song in 1969. The Connecticut Gay Men's Chorus celebrates the year with their spring show, '69 Still Divine!' Hear a variety of songs from Creedence Clearwater Revival, Three Dog Night, the Fifth Dimension and more, including the music of Woodstock and the musical 'HAIR.' Besides all the tie-dyed shirts, love beads, bell- bottoms and peace symbols, CTGMC will remember that 1969 brought us the first man on the moon, the Stonewall riots and the death of gay icon Judy Garland, not to mention some hysterical classic TV themes and outrageous celebrities who will make "surprise appearances."
