Connected Family Parenting Workshop March 3, 2013

Jim and Lynne Jackson, who are experienced with assisting behaviorally challenged and high-risk youth, will speak at a free parenting workshop to be held at 5:45 p.m., March 3, at Faith Lutheran Church, 10395 University Avenue, Clive, Iowa.

The Jacksons will speak at the two-hour workshop, which also includes a family meal, to be provided for a free-will offering as a fundraiser for the church’s high school mission youth trip. Free child care will be provided during the course of the workshop.

To attend, please contact Kala Zanoni, kalazanoni@faithlc.org by March 1, and indicate if you plan to have a meal and workshop or just a workshop and how many children will need care.

To get to Faith Lutheran Church, located in the western part of the Des Moines, Iowa area, take Interstate-235 to the Valley West Drive exit. Go north on Valley West Drive to University Avenue, then head west. Continue past the K-Mart store; Faith is on the north side of University by the Clive water tower. Parking is available at the church and at the K-Mart store.
