The Chicago Flamenco Festival 2010 presents three days of performances by Concha Jareño. This remarkable performer has obtained national recognition in Spain and has performed in many different scenarios and festivals around the world. This month-long festival will take place in many venues around the city of Chicago, and is presented by the Instituto Cervantes of Chicago in collaboration with the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, the Old Town School of Folk Music, the Flamenco Arts Center in Chicago, and Arte y Vida Chicago. The Chicago Flamenco Festival 2010 is made possible thanks to the contribution of the Tourist Office of Spain in Chicago and supported in part by Baker & McKenzie, Agencia Andaluza para el Desarollo del Flamenco, and the Illinois Arts Council.
