Concert of Russian and Gypsy Folk Music, Song and Dance October 20, 2012

The Atlanta Balalaika Society will present a concert of Russian and Gypsy folk music, song and dance on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 7:30pm at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest St., Roswell, GA 30075. The concert will feature the internationally acclaimed Russian Gypsy ensemble, Via Romen with seven-string guitarists Vadim Kolpakov and Oleg Timofeyev, violinist Arkadiy Gips and vocalist Eugenia Zolotariova. The Atlanta Balalaika Society will perform with domra virtuoso Angelina Galashenkova-Reed, bayan soloist Alla Melnik and balalaika soloist David C. Cooper.
