On June 6, 2010 St. Mark¹s Church in New Canaan, CT Camp Hand-in-Hand
Foundation and the Michael B. Stabile Scholarship Fund will present a
benefit concert featuring Alejandro Escovedo and the Sensitive Boys.
Alejandro is an award winning rock singer and one of the legends of today¹s
American music. The proceeds of the concert and a silent auction at the
reception following the concert will benefit Camp Hand-in-Hand at St.Mark's
Church and the Michael B. Stabile ¹97 Memorial Scholarship Fund at
Trinity-Pawling School.

Camp Hand-in-Hand is a state licensed summer day camp devoted to bringing
together five to eight year old children of all races, ethnicities,
abilities, religions, and socioeconomic backgrounds from around Fairfield
County to help them learn about and appreciate their differences.

The Michael B. Stabile Œ97 Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2003
at Trinity Pawling School by Michael¹s family, classmates, and friends to
provide financial assistance to students in the School¹s Language Program.
This specialized program works to alleviate basic learning disabilities and
provide students with the opportunity to realize a full range of academic
potential through their college years.

Alejandro is an acclaimed songwriter, whose works are powerful and
beautiful, witty and painful. He has made more than a dozen albums and has
performed live by himself, in rock bands and with his own orchestra playing
everything from punk to Americana. Alejandro will be playing with his band
(known as the Sensitive BoysŠ David Pulkingham on Guitar, Bobby Daniel on
bass and Hector Munoz on drums.) According to Dave Marsh, well known rock
critic and author of Bruce Springsteen on Tour: 1968-2005: ³Onstage,
Alejandro turns in consistently great shows at the level of his contemporary
Bruce Springsteen. He¹s one of this country¹s greatest popular music
artists, no matter who doesn¹t know it.²

The concert will be at 5 pm on Sunday, June 6 in the sanctuary at St. Mark¹s
Church and will be followed by a reception and silent auction in the
courtyard at St. Mark¹s Church. Tickets, which are $65 for adults and $20
for students and will be on sale at the door on the evening of the concert.

Alejandro has a new album coming out June 29 entitled Street Songs Of Love
with guest artist Ian Hunter on ³Down In The Bowery² and Bruce Springsteen
on ³Faith.²
