AIGA San Francisco and the AIGA Center for Sustainable Design are happy to present the third bi-annual Compostmodern on January 19th in San Francisco. This interdisciplinary design conference is dedicated to finding creative solutions, best practice and inspirational examples – and demonstrating how they influence the broader design community.
Speaker Highlights
Former Sierra Club president and environmental enfant terrible Adam Werbach will describe the challenges inherent in moving Wal-Mart into the 21st century while simultaneously fending off charges of "selling out" by his former colleagues.
Wine industry scion Jean-Charles Boisset will show how biodynamic farming practice and non-traditional product packaging are working in tandem to transform the wine industry.
Representatives from the AIGA Center for Sustainable Design will lead a whiteboard session plotting the course for sustainability within the design profession.
Other speakers include representatives from IDEO, VSA Partners and the AIA San Francisco Chapter.
So come spend a day in downtown San Francisco and get your green on.
