Radar.net presents a night of indie rock at Bottom of the Hill. Two popular San Francisco bands (Paper Tiger and Company Car) will share the stage with two touring bands (Dominic Castillo & the Rock Savants from San Luis Obispo and Disalto from Los Angeles). Disalto played their CD release show in Los Angeles to a crowded Troubadour and will bring their brand of powerful, melodic, driving rock to Bottom of the Hill for their SF CD release party.
Dominic Castillo & the Rock Savants: Interesting, unpredictable, yet accessible, chord changes and a memorable melody comparable to a softer Weezer. Castillo offers wonderfully written songs for the masses in a rock/folk/indie setting. This hard touring indie band are all music teachers when they are not on the road.
Paper Tiger: Their melodic and deeply grounded “Pet the Rabit” earned “Download of the Week” by the San Francisco Chronicle.
Disalto: Think Tool mixed with 30 Seconds to Mars and a little bit of Radiohead. July 18 will kick off their CD release Tour in Northern California following performances at the Troubadour and House of Blues in Los Angeles.
Company Car: Think Queens of the Stone Age mixed with Green Day and the Get Up Kids. Their high-energy live performances continue to make them a favorite.
