Company C Contemporary Ballet Presents Winter Program in Walnut Creek January 17, 2013

Thursday, January 17 at 8 pm; Friday, January 18, at 8 pm; Saturday, January 19, at 3 pm and 8 pm

Following a vibrant and widely acclaimed tenth anniversary season, Company C Contemporary Ballet will open its 2013 season with three premieres and a repertory favorite full of fresh, innovative choreography. The Winter program, with performances January 17 through February 10 in Walnut Creek and San Francisco, embodies the athletic prowess, emotion, intelligence and humor that have kept Company C at the forefront of Bay Area performing arts for over a decade. Three world premiere ballets will be presented by Company C founder and Artistic Director Charles Anderson, Brian Reeder and Patrick Corbin, plus the revival of excerpts from Anderson's "Beautiful Maladies." In addition to the Winter Program the Company will present its annual benefit gala Saturday, February 9, at 6 p.m. at Yerba Buena Center for the arts featuring a world premiere by Yuri Zhukov and ballets by Charles Anderson and Patrick Corbin.
