Compagnie Marie Chouinard Returns to Miami March 13, 2009

This year the Compagnie Marie Chouinard makes a triumphal return to Miami with two outstanding pieces that showcase Chouinard s unique and distinctive style. Presented by Tigertail Productions, they feature a reworking of the classic Rite of Spring, with Igor Stravinsky s powerful score and additional new music from Rober Racine. Rite of Spring is preceded by the short solo work Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, with music by Claude Debussy.
