2008 Event

The Chair Affair, a delightfully fun party, brings together the arts community, businesses, and citizens for a live and silent auction benefiting the Community Warehouse. Once again more than 50 local artists will transform ordinary chairs from the Community Warehouse's donated inventory into unique works of art! The (re)created chairs will be featured at the Art Institute's gallery show in April, kicked off with a 1st Thursday reception with the artists. Chairs will also be featured in Mario's downtown window display.

The 2008 event goals are to immediately fulfill the needs of 300+ families on the waiting list and to serve 20% more families each week. We hope you will join us in our mission to get children off the floor and into beds!
