Community Support Fund December 2, 2008

Emergency shelters around the state have reached their capacity, forcing the Commonwealth to place more than 600 families into motels. Food prices have increased drastically which means that many hard working people are being put in the position of having to miss meals to meet bills. To respond to the urgency of this situation, United Ways in Massachusetts have joined forces to launch the Community Support Fund. Which will create a safety net for families in crisis. 100% of the money raised will go directly to families in crisis.
