Crisis in the Middle East: Share and Learn
with Brit Tzedek: the Jewish Alliance for Justice & Peace, and with the Jewish Community Relations Council

The situation in the Middle East is emotional, complex, and often hard to talk about. Do you want to share thoughts and feelings, ask questions, and learn about the current crisis in an atmosphere of respect for varied opinions?

If so, you are invited to two community conversations. The first will be with Molly Freeman, member of the national Board of Brit Tzedek: the Jewish Alliance for Justice & Peace. The second will be with Yitzhak Santis, Middle East Affairs Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council of San Francisco. Rabbi Bridget Wynne, Rabbinic Director of JGate: Your Gateway to Jewish Life will help lead each of the sessions. Please join us for either or both!

Dates:    Wednesday, August 9 with Molly Freeman of Brit Tzedek
Monday, August 21 with Yitzhak Santis of Jewish Community Relations Council

Time:    7:30 PM

Place:   JGate, 409 Liberty Street, El Cerrito, across the street from El Cerrito Plaza and BART, between Central and Fairmount

Snacks will be served.
For more information or to RSVP contact Rabbi Bridget Wynne at JGate at (510) 559-8140 or rabbiwynne@earthlink.net.
