1015 E Clay St
Richmond, Virginia 23219

Join us as The Future of Richmond's Past and the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities (VCIC) offer our next series of "Community Conversations." Each month we will discuss a decade in Richmond history starting with the 1960s. In April we will discuss Richmond in the 1990s.

Participants will also examine the History Center's new exhibit "A History of Richmond in 50 Objects" and propose a suggestion for the 51st Object.

Notable humanitarians recognized by the VCIC will come together in a panel discussion as we explore, interpret and discuss the evolution of our city over the past 50 years. This month's VCIC featured panelists are Dr. Claire M. Rosenbaum, Ms. Virgie M. Binford, and Ms. Eva Teig Hardy for Dominion.

This is the fourth iteration of the "Community Conversations" series. The purpose of the series is to engage the community in a dialogue about the region's past and how that past can positively shape our collective future. The more who join in the conversation, the more productive our efforts become, and the easier it will be for everyone to see ourselves in the history of the region.

Free and open to the public.
All events will be held at the History Center from 6-8 p.m.
Parking is available on the street or at the History Center's lot located at the corner of 10th & Clay Streets.
