Communities for Artists: Newport Gallery Night June 10, 2010

There are places — hundreds of them across the country and right here in Rhode Island — where artists of all disciplines can go to work intensively on their art. Join us for this free presentation by Caitlin Strokosch, Director of The Alliance of Artists Communities, http://www.artistcommunities.org/ a national and international association of artists’ communities and residencies that support artists of any discipline in the development of new creative work. David Macy from The MacDowell Colony, Linda Marston-Reid from Bellagio, and Joanne Paradis from I-Park will highlight their programs for artists. The Museum is open until 8 pm on Newport Gallery Night and admission is free from 5 – 8 pm. Free parking.
