Nearly forty years ago Anna Lappé’s mother Frances Moore Lappé sparked a revolution to how we think about hunger and the social & environmental impacts of our food choices. Now, Anna exposes yet another hidden cost of our food system – global warming.

The connection between food production & climate change is startling with as much as one-third of total greenhouse emissions related to food. From how we farm to what we eat to how our food gets to the table, Lappé offers her vision of a food system that does more good than harm. She outlines the seven principles for a climate friendly diet and calls for a system wide reform of the foods we eat and its production.
