Commemorate Palm Sunday at The Great Organ: It's Sunday Concert March 28, 2010

Renowned organist Stephen Hamilton, joined by narrator Beatrice Scott-Hansen, will perform in the world’s largest Gothic cathedral on one of the world’s most treasured instruments at The Great Organ: It’s Sunday concert on Sunday, March 28th at 5:15 PM at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, located at 1047 Amsterdam Avenue (at 112th Street), Manhattan.

Hamilton will perform Marcel Duprè’s Le Chemin De La Croix, which is inspired by the Paul Claudel poem of the same name. Both works are an extended reflection upon the Passion, and infuse the human anguish of Jesus with rich spiritual meaning.
