The North County LGBT Coalition is inviting the North County LGBT Community and allies to celebrate our Coming Out Day and Pride @ the beach! in Oceanside, October 11 2008.
The Coming Out Day and Pride @ the beach! will be a great opportunity to create more Visibility for all of us, where you and your group can become an advocate of this event and help the idea of Equality to grow even stronger in our community.
Coming Out Day and Pride @ the beach! is not only for those that want to celebrate their Pride of being LGBT, but it is also the Celebration of all diversities, it is for those that stand up daily against any kind of discriminations, for those that want to live in a safer community where diversities are respected and not marginalized.
Finally, Coming Out Day and Pride @ the beach! will also be a family event where games, music, food vendor and beach play will be fun for everyone kids and adults. Come and help us to prepare this wonderful event, every First and Third Wednesday of the month @ 6:30pm Hill Street Cafe' 524 S Coast Hwy, at the Coalition Meetings.

Can we please stop this ridiculous nonsense. I do not care about who your "buddy" is. I do care that it is splashed all over in my face. There are so many more wonderful things in this world to celebrate. Your beliefs are yours but we can join together in worthy causes. And I am very upset that a perfectly good word was wrecked (gay) due to some political group. Create your own new word or use the term homosexual. But gay is not your word to destroy its original meaning.
Now how about going and feeding the homeless, or clothing those who need it and stopping the gangs.
