Local comedian Davon Magwood will bring his comedy to the Pittsburgh Improv on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. for a live taping for his “Comfortably Weird” stand-up comedy DVD.
Magwood is the most viewed Pittsburgh comedian on MySpace.com and has won the Sanford and Sons open mic competition in Kansas City, Kansas. He participated in the Ochi’s $500 comedy competition and was nominated for best comedian at the 2009 Pittsburgh Hip Hop Awards.
Magwood has performed in countless open mics in the Pittsburgh area, but this is his first solo show. He is excited to show his hometown his alternative to mainstream comedy. The show is for audience member 18 and up.
