The latest from Dark Porch Theater, 'Comedy Ballet' follows KC (John Russell), a hapless wine clerk, as he is pursued by a homeless actor-painter (Nathan Tucker) who may or may not be sleeping in the stacks; an inscrutable beauty (Molly Benson) who may or may not want to take him home; and a trio of feverishly grieving gangsters who may or may not want to ritually sacrifice him. Punctuated by Fairchild's daring modern choreography and set to Derek Phillips' dazzling original elecroacoustic score, the play unfolds under the aegis of two 4' x 8' paintings created by Russian-American artist Mikhail Poloskin.
