UALR Theatre Arts & Dance Department is proud to present The Comedie of Errors by William Shakespeare.
Twin brothers, both named Antipholus, are involuntarily separated in infancy along with their parents and their twin servants (both named Dromio). Antipholus of Syracusa and his Dromio have searched the world over for their other halves. Years go by. Lo and behold, on a summer?s day, and unbeknownst to each other, the twins, their servants and their parents wind up in the same town! Comic anarchy abounds: bewilderment, mistaken identities, high concept and low humor-Shakespeare?s fast paced romp dashed from Mel Brooks to Beckett on its way to hiijinks and hilarity.
Performances will be 8 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday November 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 2:30 p.m. matinees on Friday, November 18 and Sunday, November 20.
