Mike Birbiglia doesn't sound like other comedians. He has a simple, conversational delivery where he talks about his life as a young traveling comedian and his struggle to keep a steady relationship.
After being named the "Funniest Person on Campus" while a student at Georgetown University, Mike got a chance to open for Dave Chappelle at the DC Improv. He then moved to New York City and made his television debut on The Late Show with David Letterman, shortly followed by his own Comedy Central Presents half-hour special. From there, Mike hit the road and excelled to national headlining status in just 3 years.
He has sold well over 10 thousand copies of his debut CD Dog Years, due in part to frequent airplay on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show and word of mouth has Mike selling out comedy clubs and college appearances nationwide. Comedy Central.com calls Mike "one of the truly distinct and incredibly popular voices of New York comedy.Equally gifted as a writer and performer, Mike is an emerging superstar."
