Self-adorned “Mr. Lucky” Dobie Maxwell’s bizarre luck and tendency for horrendous timing have given the Milwaukee-born comic plenty of rip-roarious material, and helped propel him toward becoming one of the country’s top-touring comedians. Dobie’s live show is a whirlwind of words, a virtual verbal hurricane, and everywhere he goes he draws new fans. Never doing the exact show twice, Dobie keeps it fresh and fun for audiences. He took third place in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition in 2003, has worked with notable names like Jerry Seinfeld, Jeff Foxworthy, Richard Pryor and Dennis Miller and has headlined countless clubs around the country. He also can occasionally be heard on the Bob and Tom Radio Show.
