Come Out & Play 2007 September 27, 2007

Come Out & Play will be landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands this September for a two day festival. In collaboration with the Waag Society and the PICNIC Cross Media Week Festival, Come Out & Play will be running a two-day mini-festival in Amsterdam this September. Games will take place in locations around Amsterdam.

Last year the first Come Out & Play Festival turned New York City into a playground for a weekend. Hundreds of players gathered to play 25 different games across the city. Players raced through the night in a city-wide game of zombie tag. Friends faced of in life-sized Pong using only their ears to "hear" the ball. Payphones produced points and Tompkins Square Park became a putt-putt course. 200 people performed stunts to display on the Reuters screen in Times Square while blocks away groups of players killed each other with kindness. In all it was darn good and fascinating fun.

Well, the festival is back. In September 2007, Amsterdam will have the chance to come out and play again.
