My family visited Gonzales for the "Come and Take it Festival" this weekend with my parents and sister and her family. We enjoyed the parade, the jail museum, the historical presentation in the courthouse and went to see the reenactment. This period of Texas history is fascinating and the participants did a great job of communicating the story.
