Come & Play - Open Concert November 6, 2011

The Richmond Symphony is inviting musicians of all ages and abilities to play alongside the Richmond Symphony musicians for the 5th annual Come & Play. The day will be led by Associate Conductor Erin R. Freeman. We will be playing:

Grieg ~ In the Hall of the Mountain King from Suite No. 1 from Peer Gynt, Opus 46;

Khachaturian ~ Waltz from Suite from Masquerade;

Anderson ~ Blue Tango;

Bizet ~ "Farandole" from Suite No. 2 from L'Arlésienne;

Brahms, orch. Parlow ~ Hungarian Dance No. 5 in G minor;

Copland ~ "Hoe Down" from Rodeo;

Chiarappa ~ Romp for Symphony Orchestra and "Celebrity" Triangulist;

Strauss ~ Thunder and Lightning Polka, Opus 324
